R. Andrés is a Colombian-born multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter based in Queens, NY with sounds ranging from Singer-Songwriter/Alternative to Rock, Pop, and Folk Rock. While growing up he always knew something was different about him...something missing. He was born in Medellín, Colombia and once music came into his life while growing up in New York City, he realized that was it and pursued music at full steam.

 

Over the years he's played around Connecticut, Minnesota, Chicago, New Jersey and, of course, New York City. Since moving back to New York after living in Chicago and going back to school to learn about audio production, he has been honing his songs while collaborating with fellow musicians/artists in his neighborhood and has played local venues such as Bowery Electric and The Bitter End. Alongside all that, R. Andrés has also taken to teaching both Beginner Drum and Beginner Acoustic Guitar lessons.
