So, I decided to try my hand at applying for the 2019 NPR Tiny Desk contest. Submissions for which ended Sunday April 14, 11:59pm. Out of all the stuff I have so far, I decided to go with my song "Guiding Light." It took some time to finally get done, but luckily I got my start on it in the early after noon that day. Anyhow, from what I understand, those at NPR who look at all the submissions most likely take view count into play when deciding which submission to continue further with, so I'm here asking that you take a few minutes out of your day to take a look at the video here... —>
Music has been a thing for me all my life. What can I say? Ever since I was a little kid, turning on the family record player, yes...I said record player...and putting on artists such as Michael Jackson just to sit in front of the stereo and listen to all the things happening in that song, or on whichever album I was listening to at the time. Since then, I've taken to putting my own songs together. Take a listen to them here...
